Meet our First National Title Insurance Team.

Chris Phillips began his career in the title industry in 1977 in Colorado. He spent 26 years working in several leadership roles, including president, at a Texas-based regional underwriter where he was responsible for building the agency network and increasing revenues throughout the Southwest.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He is a member of the Texas Land Title Association where he serves on the TLTAPAC board as a trustee. In 2010, he was awarded the TLTA’s highest honor of Title Man of the Year, which recognizes significant and longtime contributions to the title industry and the association.

Ray Reece joined the title industry in 1980 as an internal auditor for a national underwriter. He later assumed an accounting position with a mortgage loan servicer. In 1991, he joined a Texas-based regional underwriter as vice president/chief financial officer and treasurer. His duties included producing monthly financial statements and reconciling accounts, managing cash and company investments, and preparing the annual state statistical reports.
Ray is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

George Stablein started working in the title industry as underwriting counsel for a national underwriter in 1998. He has since worked for two more national underwriting companies as counsel and regional manager where he increased the company’s agency presence in Texas. George will focus on growing the independent agent network for First National Title in Texas and other states as the company expands.
George is a graduate of Arizona State University with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. He earned his juris doctorate from Western State University College of Law. He is an active member of the Texas Land Title Association and often conducts training seminar for title agents and real estate agents throughout Texas.

Geri Hosterman entered the title industry in 1991 as the communications manager at the Texas Land Title Association. She joined a Texas-based regional underwriter in 1993 as agency representative and served as agency operations manager and vice president of Texas agency.
Geri is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor of journalism degree. She is a member of the Texas Land Title Association where she has participated on various committees and served as committee chairman.

D.J. has worked in the title industry since 2003 when he started as an agency representative for a national underwriter. He later joined a Texas-based regional underwriter as an agency representative where he developed business throughout the Southwest.
D.J. is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University with a bachelor of arts degree. He is a member of the Texas Land Title Association and participates on committees and is the chairman of the TLTA PAC annual golf tournament. He is also active in the Arizona and Colorado land title associations and the Center for Brain Health of Dallas.

Suzanne Tinsley began her career in the real estate industry in 2001, transitioning from the oil and gas industry after Sept 11. She has served in many facets of our industry, but her most gratifying has been her position as an agency manager for a major underwriter, bringing her years of experience in direct title sales and marketing to her clients through training and ideas. Suzanne has quickly become considered a valuable resource and extension of her agents' teams. Her sales philosophy is that it should be a genuine act of service with the goal to delight customers.
Suzanne stays active in the title industry through volunteering as a member of the Texas Land Title Association, a licensed Texas Real Estate Commission MCE instructor and a former board member. She is an award winner within the Society of Commercial Realtors and has received numerous recognitions from her volunteer efforts in affiliated associations. Suzanne actively participates in the Ronald McDonald House and RU4Children charities.

Errin was first introduced to a title insurance industry in 1986 when she joined a newly formed Texas-based regional underwriter. Over her career, she has held various positions in the accounting department and as office manager, policy department supervisor, and network administrator. She played an integral part in the development of the company’s proprietary database application and online services web application.

Ellen Wied earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with high honors. She attended law school at the University of Houston and earned her JD in 1982. Ellen began working in the real estate/title insurance industry in 1983 and has worked as underwriting and claims counsel for three national underwriters and as general counsel at several central Texas title companies. She is thoroughly knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the title insurance industry and real estate closings.
Ellen has previously been an instructor at the Texas Land Title Association (TLTA) Land Title School, served on the Texas Title Insurance Guaranty Board, numerous TLTA committees, and was awarded the honor of being named an Outstanding Young Title Person by TLTA.

David’s journey from abstractor, examiner, escrow officer to attorney & underwriting counsel for a national title insurance company gives him a unique perspective and ability when it comes to solving underwriting issues. David is a problem solver and his vast knowledge includes all facets of the title insurance industry. In addition, David is an accomplished speaker presenting regular continuing education classes for realtors, escrow agents and the Texas Land Title Association. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Texas Tech University and afterwards attended Texas Wesleyan University School of Law while also working full time in the title industry earning his JD in 2004.

NolaAnn Waggoner entered the title industry in 1992 as a manager of a title agency in Southeast Texas. After four years, she entered law school and earned her juris doctorate. She returned to the title industry and has worked for national underwriting companies in positions that include claims and underwriting counsel. NolaAnn’s experience has enabled her to be proficient in real estate and title insurance matters.
NolaAnn is a member of the State Bar of Texas and stays active in the Texas Land Title Association where she participates on multiple committees. She is a graduate of both Texas A&M University and Texas Southern University Law School.

As a licensed attorney, Sean Everest provides a specialized insight into the real estate transaction. His previous experience in the oil and gas industry, the real estate brokerage business and at a title agency allows him to bring a high level of understanding to the nuances of complicated real estate transactions. He is a certified instructor and frequent presenter at real estate related functions. And he is available to provide the education and training you need.
Sean graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Texas A&M - Commerce and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. He lives in San Antonio with his beautiful wife and three gorgeous daughters.

Cherí has more than 30 years of real estate, mortgage, and title experience beginning as a Realtor in 1976. She has spent the majority of her career in the title industry as an escrow officer, branch manager, national training officer, and most recently as a compliance and quality assurance officer for a regional underwriter. Her previous work history has given her the experience of closing real estate transactions, which she now uses to verify that procedures are conducted properly. Cheri will be working with our independent agents to identify areas of concern and providing compliance solutions.
Cherí is a member of the Texas Land Title Association where she is an active volunteer and continues to maintain her real estate broker’s license.

Jamie Barker entered the title industry in 2001 and has worked on both the agent and underwriting sides of the business. She also has an extensive background in title software, including her tenure at RamQuest. She uses her knowledge of the RamQuest system to help train agents and assists in solving software issues while attending to her duties as agency service manager. Jamie is an active member of the Texas Land Title Association.

Emily Froggatt joined FNTI in January of 2014. She completed the Land Title School of Texas sponsored by the Texas Land Title Association in February of 2015. Emily processes policy remittance reports, payments and requests for policy inventory and assists Ray Reece in the Accounting Department with accounts payable.

Heather Stubbs joined FNTI in April of 2016 as receptionist, setting up new accounts and assists users with FirstNET Agent Portal, processes home office issue and policy remittances. She is also assisting our Agency Department with certificates of completion for continuing education for FNTI’s monthly webinars.
Timothy J. Redding
Tim Redding began his title career in 1978 and gained experience working at both a title agency and national underwriting companies. Continuing a 35 year career in the title industry in which he served in a variety of executive underwriting positions, Redding is excited to add another chapter to his storied resume. Redding has been actively involved in the Texas Land Title Association (TLTA), serving on a number of committees as a member and as chairman. He served as president of the TLTA in 1997-1998 and was named Title Person of the Year in 1993–the highest honor given by the Association. Redding is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
His vast knowledge includes all facets of the title industry, and he is an accomplished speaker on matters concerning real estate.
